Recipe: Silly Goose Spinach Dip

This delicious spinach dip recipe is a perfect party dip and crowd pleaser, and a great way to eat more veggies! It whips up together quickly and stores well for several days. Be sure to make extra for yourself for the week to spread on sandwiches, burgers, crackers, just about anything!

What makes The Silly Goose Spinach Dip extra tasty is the addition of parmesan cheese and ranch seasoning along with the more traditional ingredients found in similar spinach dips. Take it up an extra notch by adding fresh crumbled bacon or bacon pieces.

Silly Goose Spinach Dip

Here's what you'll need:

  • Whipped cream cheese, 16oz tub

  • Sour cream, 8oz-16oz

  • 1c frozen spinach, drained

  • 1c shredded parmesan cheese

  • 1 package ranch seasoning mix

  • 1tsp garlic, fresh or powder (your preference)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Optional ingredients:

  • Crumbled bacon or bacon pieces

Instructions

Mix together whipped cream cheese and sour cream in large bowl. Add in ranch seasoning packet. Stir in parmesan cheese and garlic. Add spinach and stir through (be sure spinach is well drained/pressed out for excess water). Salt and pepper to taste. Chill until ready to serve. Enjoy!

Tips from your Top Goose

  • This dip only gets better with time as the ingredients sit so I recommend making at least an hour or two before serving (even the day before you're able).

  • Switch it up and spread this dip in a baking dish, top with more parmesan cheese and baked at 350 degrees for 15-30m or until hot. You can melt butter with bread crumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt and pepper and spread that on top as well for a yummy bread topping to golden up.

  • Both minced garlic and garlic powder work for this recipe. It's really a matter of preference. If you are baking I definitely recommend the minced garlic for flavor.
