Silly Goose Tartar Sauce Recipe
Here's what you'll need:
2tbsp zucchini or cucumber relish
2tbsp Dijon mustard
1-2tbsp lemon juice (bottle or fresh squeezed is fine)
1tbsp minced red onion
Salt & pepper to taste (I personally find it doesn’t need the salt with the other ingredients)
Mix together all ingredients and serve chilled. Easy! Enjoy with your crab cakes for the perfect Silly Goose Crab Cake Dinner!
Tip from your Top Goose:
I don’t love a ton of mayo but if you prefer to add more you can.
Add the lemon juice slowly to avoid your sauce being too runny. For thicker sauce, use less lemon juice and Dijon. Ground mustard will also help add more flavor without thinning the sauce.
Chill for at least 30m before eating so flavors can develop.
